Choose Your Own Senior
If you are already helping a family member, friend, or neighbor, you can choose to care for them through our agency. If they qualify for the IDoA program, we will hire you as their official caregiver so you can get paid $21+/hour for the incredible support you are already providing.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Our caregivers help seniors live with dignity by providing:
Personal Care
Assistance with grooming, bathing, and dressing.
Companionship
Building life-changing bonds and providing emotional support.
Home Support
Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
Daily Essentials
Medication reminders, errand running, and grocery shopping.
Specialized Care
Supporting clients with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or post-hospitalization needs.
Minimum Requirements
To ensure the highest quality of care, all applicants must meet the following minimum state requirements:
Age
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Citizenship
Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Background Check
Must pass the mandatory Illinois Health Care Worker Background Check.
Training
Completion of 24 hours of pre-service training (provided by our agency).
Specialized Training
Completion of 6 hours of Dementia/Alzheimer’s training (provided) within the first 60 days.
